My passion, my inspiration, my family.  

 

Art has always played a major role in my life. I am a graphic designer by trade and have been fortunate enough to have maintained a successful and gratifying career. However, there is always a desire--a need--in me to create for the sole purpose of creating. To get my hands dirty. I'm a glutton for all things visual. I horde it. At any given moment, there is a perpetual reel of palettes, images, inspirations, running through my head. They build, and build, until the silos spill. The artwork is the result. 

 

I have accomplished some remarkable things in my life, but none so profound as my marriage to my husband Phillip and the children that we have together. As any mother can attest, the time needed to create is limited, but the desire--the inspiration--to do so is infinite. 

 

Marquis and Daughters is the culmination these things.
